OUR MISSION
It is our goal to share our talents, present quality
programming that demonstrates spiritual awareness, high moral standards, value for human worth, and concern for the quality
and welfare of everyone in our community.
Stage plays are produced each year to create a platform for aspiring
actors of all ages to cultivate their talent on stage. Plays are produced and performed each year in Inglewood,
CA. Actors donate their time and talent to the productions. There is no pay, however, all participants will
receive credit for their participation.
OUR HISTORY
Creative Works, Etc. was birthed in 1985 as a result of Marie C. Wakefield's
vision to share the gift of poetry, song writing, singing and stage plays that God has blessed her with. She
shared her vision with husband, Donald, and friend Jean E. Hawkins - both who are writers, actors and directors. They
embraced her desire and as a team began producing plays written by Jean and Marie in the Los Angeles area. Donald,
Marie and Jean directed the plays alternately. Jean went home to be with the Lord. Now Donald and Marie maintain
the vision. Marie continues to provide various typing services, write poetry and songs, create greeting cards, and plays by
request for churches, organizations and individuals. Donald continues to direct and work with aspiring actors and directors.
Creative Works, Etc. was incorporated as a non-profit organization in 2003.
SCHOLARSHIPS
Our company donates funds every year to existing Non-Profit
501(C)(3) scholarship programs in the Los Angeles area.
